慶祝2021 年中秋節 (Celebrating 2021 Mid-autumn festival)
9月21日，高徹斯特華人協會在華人之家迎來了2021年中秋慶祝活動。
傳統中秋節是在講嫦娥奔月的故事，是人月兩團圓的日子。雖然今年未能高朋滿座，但燈龍高掛、喜氣依舊。
關愛老人、辦好中文學校是協會為華人服務的重中之重。所以協會分別給65歲以上的長者和CCA中文學校的老師送贈禮品。感謝長者為社會、家庭的辛勞付出，感恩師长為傳承華人文化的諄諄教誨。
慶祝中秋得以順利進行，全賴有您！

Celebrating Mid-autumn festival
On September 21st, the Colchester Chinese Association celebrated the Mid-Autumn Festival 2021 at the centre of the association. The traditional Mid-Autumn Festival is the day to tell the story of the moon and it is also the day when people are reunited. Although this year there was no gathering at the centre, with the red lanterns raising high, the atmosphere of happiness was still there.
Caring for the elderly and running Chinese school are the top priorities of the association to provide services to the Chinese community. In view of this, the association presents gifts to the seniors over 65 and teaching staff of CCA Chinese school, respectively. Thanks to the elderly for their hard work to the community and their efforts to support families. Special thanks also go to our teaching staff for their earnestly and tirelessly teaching and inspiration for the heritage of Chinese culture.
